Senior Leadership

Guiding the Church Forward

Our Senior Leadership team carries responsibility for the day-to-day vision, direction, and pastoral care of the church. They seek to lead with humility, prayerfulness, and a commitment to helping the church grow in faith, discipleship, and mission.

Jo Read: Jo is a Senior Pastor and Elder, with oversight of all campuses. A visionary leader, she began as Youth Pastor in Louth in 1996 and is passionate about seeing lives and communities transformed by God.
James Cartwright: James has been part of Generations Church for 20+ years and serves as Campus Pastor in Grimsby. He is passionate about preaching, worship, and seeing people encounter God. He also serves practically and carries vision for a healthy, growing church.
Diane Cartwright: Diane is one of our Grimsby Campus Pastors. She oversees our children’s pastors and has a heart for families. She is passionate about seeing children and parents grow in faith and is currently part of the AoG Ministers in Training programme.
Liz Hilton: Liz was born in Louth with a passion for evangelism and seeing people encounter God. She completed an internship and PAIS training before joining Generations Church. In 2025 she became Louth Campus Pastor, helping people find faith and purpose.
Jo Parkinson: Jo is a Louth campus leader, trustee, leads the women's ministry and is the Louth pastoral leader. As a therapist, Jo offers spiritual and emotional welfare support; helping build church culture rooted in respect, love and acceptance.
Billy Walker: Billy is the Louth youth pastor with a heart for seeing young people come to Christ. After finding faith as a teenager, he has grown into a leader who understands the next generation and is helping grow our youth in numbers and spiritual depth.

Elders

Spiritual Oversight and Wisdom

Our Elders provide spiritual oversight, wisdom, and accountability for the church. They support and pray for the Senior Leadership team, helping ensure we remain faithful to God’s Word and His call over our church community.

Math Read: Math is Senior Pastor and Elder at Generations Church. He serves across church life with a heart for helping people practically and pastorally. He is a teacher at a local secondary school. Academy.
